How long does the process take?
From start to finish, the average time is 10 - 12 weeks.
What areas do you serve?
I serve clients nationwide! If you are located in Los Angeles or Ventura County, you have the option to drop off your bouquet in Calabasas, or I can arrange local pickup and/or delivery of your finished piece for an additional fee. Pickup and delivery fees vary depending on location and distance.
How does shipping work?
I offer bouquet preservation by mail throughout the United States. You are responsible for shipping your bouquet to me, including all associated costs. Expedited shipping is recommended, and bouquets should ideally be shipped within 24 hours of your event to ensure the best results. Once your order is confirmed, I will provide detailed shipping instructions and packaging tips. There will be an additional cost for shipping the finished product back, with the cost varying based on the size of your piece and your location.
Will the flowers change colors or fade over time?
Some natural fading and color changes are expected and are part of the preservation process. Final results depend on the condition of the flowers when they are received, as well as the types of blooms included.
Can you press all flowers?
Not all flowers press well, such as thicker or high-moisture blooms. The inquiry form includes questions about your bouquet so I can determine the best approach and ensure it’s a good fit.
Do you work with resin or shadowboxes?
No, I do not. My preservation style focuses on creating a timeless, 2D pressed floral artwork by carefully drying, pressing, and arranging your flowers within a frame.
Do you offer color correction?
No, I do not offer color correction or dyeing services. I preserve your flowers in their natural state and embrace the unique colors and characteristics that develop through the drying and pressing process.
Do you only press wedding bouquets?
Not at all! I preserve flowers from a variety of occasions—weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, and more.
How do I care for my finished piece?
Finished pieces should be displayed away from direct sunlight and kept in a dry environment. Avoid placing them in areas with high humidity or moisture, such as bathrooms. You will receive a care card with detailed instructions to ensure their pressed florals remain in the best possible condition.
